Suzanne and Alex are married!
It was our first time photographing a wedding at the Asbury Hotel, and we absolutely loved it. Talk about a unique venue. Between the textures, natural light, artistic details, and creative spaces throughout the property, there was always something interesting around the next corner.
Rain made an appearance on the wedding day, but honestly, it never felt like it changed anything. One of the things we loved most about the Asbury Hotel was how many incredible indoor photo opportunities it offered. Rather than working around the weather, we were able to embrace the venue and take advantage of spaces that felt stylish, creative, and completely different from a traditional wedding venue.
We first met Suzanne and Alex during their engagement session at the New York Public Library earlier this year. While they can be a little reserved when the camera first comes out, the moment their attention shifts to each other, everything becomes effortless. It was exactly the same on their wedding day. Despite the rain, they were all smiles from start to finish and fully present for every moment.
The Asbury Hotel's blend of historic charm, modern design, and artistic personality gave us the perfect backdrop to create images that felt unique to their day. From quiet moments together to a packed dance floor later in the evening, every part of the celebration felt relaxed, joyful, and true to them.
To cap it all off, EMG kept the energy high and gave Suzanne and Alex an incredible party to dance the night away.
