Katie and Mitch are getting married!
Katie and Mitch found us through the wedding of one of Katie's high school friends, and from our very first conversation, we knew this was going to be something special. One of the first things Katie shared with us was that she could feel the emotion in those images. Hearing that meant the world to us because that's exactly what we hope people take away from our work.
Over the years, we've realized that the most meaningful part of a photograph isn't how beautiful it looks. It's how it makes you feel. Long after the flowers have faded and the details have been packed away, we want our couples to look back at their images and be transported right back into those moments. To remember the excitement, the comfort, the laughter, and the love they shared with the people who matter most.
Knowing how important that was to Katie and Mitch, we wanted to create a session that felt like them. We immediately knew Skylands Manor would be the perfect fit. Between the elegant architecture, endless greenery, and some of the most beautiful romantic light we've ever photographed in, it checked every box.
As always, the drive was more than worth it.
We spent the evening laughing, exploring the grounds, and creating some of our favorite images. The light showed up exactly the way we'd hoped, wrapping everything in a soft, romantic glow that perfectly matched the elegance of the location. But as beautiful as Skylands Manor is, the real magic always comes from the people in front of our cameras. Katie and Mitch made this session what it was simply by being themselves. The way they looked at each other, laughed together, and so naturally showed their love made every photograph feel genuine.
