Gwen and Andrew are married!! ❤️
This one has been a long time coming. These two met junior year of high school, when Andrew apparently decided the best way to get Gwen’s attention was to repeatedly drop pencils behind her so she’d have to pick them up. 😂 Not long after, Gwen invited him to her 17th birthday party, a kiss happened, and the rest is history.
Almost ten years later, they’ve grown through so many different stages of life together. Gwen told us she knew pretty early on that Andrew was her person because he just felt like home. For Andrew, it was the day they went to get their dog, Ace, that made everything click. So it only made sense that Ace had a pretty important job on the wedding day too: ring bearer. ❤️
And they picked one of our favorite places to celebrate it all. We LOVE being back at Edgewood Country Club. There’s such a great mix of clean, modern spaces and beautiful outdoor scenery, which gives us so much variety to work with throughout a wedding day. But even beyond the photos, it’s just one of those places where the day seems to flow effortlessly from one part of the celebration into the next.
One thing that stood out to us throughout the entire day was just how much this wedding meant to both of them. Gwen and Andrew put so much thought and intention into the little details, and you could see how much they cared about creating a day that felt like them and included the people (and pup!) they love most.
And Andrew definitely wasn’t hiding how much it all meant to him. The tears came during their first look and then made another appearance at the ceremony. Some of our favorite photographs are always the ones where people completely forget we're there, and there were plenty of those moments with these two.
Of course, it wasn't all tears. 😂 Once the formalities were over, Gwen and Andrew were READY to celebrate. Their reception got wild in the absolute best way, and watching the two of them completely let loose with their favorite people was the perfect ending to a day that had so much heart behind it.
