It's not often that I get the opportunity to work outside of the Tri-State area. Though their wedding is in NJ where Erika is originally from, she wanted to rep her new hometown for the engagement session. So when Erika and Erm, who live in DC, asked for me to head down to them for their session, I was excited! It was a bit of a nerve wracking drive because the weather seemed to want to rain on our session. I think the weather knew better than to mess with Erika ;) It was a bit of a tour for me starting with the National Gallery of Art, the Sculpture Garden, and the Lincoln Memorial, with an appearance by the Washington Monument. And would you believe that through all that time, the rain held up? We had a blast, made some awesome images and I got to know this really cool couple. Definitely looking forward to this wedding next year!
