We honestly thought our first wedding at The Conservatory at Blackberry Ridge might be our only chance to photograph there. This incredible venue in the hills just outside Chattanooga feels almost too good to be true. The glass conservatory, the mountain views, the peaceful setting, and the way the light pours into every corner make it one of those places that photographers can't help but fall in love with. So naturally, when Emily and Spencer reached out to us, we were beyond excited.
We truly enjoyed the journey leading up to the wedding day. Every conversation gave us a little more insight into the life they're building together, the adventures they're having, and the way they genuinely enjoy being around each other. Especially during their Engagement Session at NYPL, we got to see and photograph what their love really feels like.
And then the wedding day arrived. Honestly, it had everything. Beautiful weather. Incredible light. One of our favorite venues anywhere. But what stood out most wasn't the scenery. It was the people. Watching these two families come together to celebrate Emily and Spencer was such a joy. There was no shortage of laughter, hugs, happy tears, and the kind of energy that makes a wedding feel alive. The emotion throughout the day was contagious and made for some of our favorite images from the entire weekend.
And of course, we can't finish this post without mentioning Whiskey. After hearing about him throughout the planning process, we finally got to meet the furry VIP himself. Some might say Emily and Spencer were the stars of the day, but Whiskey was definitely making a strong case for Most Important Guest. 🤣
