It finally happened! After about 5 visits to Miami, the stars aligned! I spent some time photographing my long time friends, Anjuli and Carlos, at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. We knew that when it finally happened it was going to be a great time. What we didn't know was, when it would happen and if we'd get surprised by one of Miami's typical 10 minute storms. To make a long story short, everything worked out, including me being in Miami on a day that Anjuli and Carlos were both off and we really took advantage of that. Anjuli and Carlos have been married for 9 years and I was surprised to hear that this was their first time being photographed professionally together. No pressure ;) But a ton of laughs later, we were driving home basking in our triumph. And by basking, I mean we were talking about how we deserved to tear up the Cuban food that we were about to enjoy. These two are incredible people and I'm so glad we finally had this opportunity!
