As our season winds down, we find ourselves with the time to look back, reflect, and truly appreciate what we have and what we've done. We don't often get to say this but it feels a little bit like a lottery to think, "this is what we do for a living".
Moses: I constantly remind myself of the fear of leaving the "secure job" to chase the dream job and how I thought it was the unrealistic and unwise road to take. Here I am, starting my 12th year in business and about to start my 7th year as a full time wedding photographer. I get to work daily with my favorite person in the world ( yes that's you Steph). I get to work with incredible couples and families that have trusted us and welcomed us like family. I've met incredible artists in this industry that I know will be life-long friends. I don't know where I'd be if I wasn't a photographer but I can't imagine it would be anywhere near as amazing as this.
Steph: The last year has taught me so much. About myself, about my passion to create, and about my passion to serve. We're blessed in the way we're allowed access to the lives of our couples in such a personal and intimate way and we've felt so appreciated beyond any expectation we could have had. I can't wait to see how the next year unfolds and I'm excited to be there to see and preserve moments for all of the beautiful people that put their trust in us.
To everyone that allowed us the honor of photographing you and trusted us enough to be on the other side of our cameras this year, to everyone who has continued to support us by sharing our work, sharing our name, and sharing your time with us even long after working with us, our heart are full because of you.
Here are some of our favorite images from 2023. We love these for so many different reasons but the one thing they all have in common is that they were all in some way a result of these beautiful people trusting us. Whether it was trusting us that it looked great when we pose you even if it felt a little awkward, trusting us with your time during such an important day where every minute is precious, or trusting us enough to allow your emotions to show in front of our cameras. We don't take any of it for granted and we wish we could express our appreciation to each and every one of you.
